Ryan currently is a Sales Engineer for the Charles D. Jones Company specializing in HVAC. He has a passion for providing solutions that are easy for people to use and integrate. Some of that passion has transferred over to Energy Efficiency. With nearly a decade in the HVAC industry Ryan’s expertise includes heat transfer products, building controls, VAV systems, hydronics, custom air handling and fire life safety. He enjoys learning about new innovations and hopes to help grow AEE in Kansas City. In his free time Ryan enjoys the outdoors with his family and two dogs.

Grant works for CLEAResult, serving as the Associate Program Manager for KCP&L's Commercial & Industrial Energy Efficiency Program. He graduated from William Jewell College in 2016 with a BA in Physics and a Mathematics minor; a majority of his research was renewable energy focused. Grant's professional career has been dedicated to the smarter use of energy and a commitment to making the world more sustainable. Prior to CLEAResult, he worked for a solar energy contractor on the design, installation, and management of residential projects. Additionally, he spent much of 2017 volunteering with Bridging the Gap to help businesses introduce new recycling efforts. At CLEAResult, his responsibilities include partnering with contractors on energy efficiency projects, introducing ideas to business owners about how they can save energy, and helping KCP&L implement overall program improvements. In his free time, Grant enjoys spending time hanging out with his friends, watching sports, golfing, snowboarding, and travelling.
Brian is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at GBA (George Butler Associates). He designs HVAC and piping systems for pharmaceutical, industrial and commercial facilities with an emphasis on energy efficiency. In addition to mechanical design, he provides energy analysis studies of industrial systems and commercial buildings. He holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, with an emphasis in Thermal Science and Renewable Energy, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UMKC. Brian has been involved with AEE since 2013 and holds a certification as a Distributed Generation Certified Professional. In his spare time, Brian enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and driving and racing his cobra.

Dan currently works as an Energy Engineer for Johnson Controls focusing on performance contracting projects. He graduated from the University of Missouri in 2011 with a BS in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering as well as a Minor in Mathematics. Since graduating, he has worked in the HVAC industry, specializing in energy efficiency. In his spare time, Dan enjoys spending time with his family and pretty much anything that keeps him active including playing sports, hunting and working out.

Jerry Casey II
MC Power Companies
Jerry serves MC Power Companies as the Energy Specialist, focused on Solar and Energy Storage project creation and implementation. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 2006 with a BS in Engineering Management with an emphasis in Industrial Engineering and a minor in Psychology. In the past 4 years, he has become a subject matter specialist on Grid Scale Battery Storage technology, Microgrid systems and LED Lighting. He has over a decade of experience in the power and automation industries, including electrical load flow studies, system and process design, business development, Lightrail Traction Powered DC Substation design and commissioning, field engineering, and field team management. Jerry works with potential clients to determine specific energy needs and develops solutions to meet and exceed these goals.
He is the current Treasurer and immediate Past-President for the AEE-Kansas City, where he doubled the average monthly meeting attendance (30-60) in 3 years. He is also the AEE-KC Student Chapter Liaison, and partnered in 2018 with Rockhurst University to start the first AEE-KC Student Chapter. He is working to create more student chapters at surrounding universities. The Kansas City Chapter also named their new student scholarship program after him; the Jerry Casey Scholarship Fund. He also serves as the Regional Vice President for AEE Region IV, 2019-2020.
In his free time, Jerry loves spending time with his family, God, running, singing, playing drums, working with youth at church, and networking/building new relationships to simply help others.
